lu and i hopped in the car and headed to the beach last night. over the past six weeks i have shot five weddings. and on the one off weekend drove to SC for sessions. its been busy but fun (i really am so in love with shooting weddings). lee has also been traveling and gone almost every single week. single parenting, trying to be present with lu, giving my clients my all..it has been a lot. and here i am now..i could not be happier to be here at the beach. just me, my mom and my lu. it is pouring rain outside so we are snuggled up inside.  my plan for the next week-editing like crazy, playing on the beach, laughing with my mom, going for a run everyday, eating too much. my mom and i plan to have a beer everyday at 4pm. just because we can.

oh and so guess what happens next week? lee r and i head out to LA to meet the adoption attorney (lu is staying with nana and papa). at that point we will officially be waiting. eek. so that is exciting. any LA recommendations? we are staying in culver city. my main mission..find a photobooth. :http://emilycoreyphoto.com/blog/?p=2000 : lee and i will be celebrating 10 years of marriage in august..the book will be complete!!!!
